Step 1: Download and Install iPod File Transfer, and then Run the software, connect your iPod to your computer via USB cable. After done, the iPod icon and its library and playlists appear in the Device list. Notice that iPod Transfer finds all the music and videos in your iPod.

Step 2: Creat a new playlist that you want to import files to it.

Step 3: Click the iPod to Mac button, and choose the add files, and then press "Open". And you can see the import progress bar. This may take some time depending on the amount of songs and videos you choosed.

Step 4: When the export progress finish, you can get a prompt box. And the add files appear in iPod File Transfer filelist window.

Notice:When the files are transferring, please make sure your itunes is closed. If you forgot to close it, don't worry, the itunes will be shut down automatically by the software. With iPod File Transfer, you needn't to use iTunes any more, you can transfer files between iPod and Mac directly.

How to eject your iPod?

Method 1: Choose File > Eject, and choose the iPod you want to eject from the submenu.

Method 2: Choose the iPod you want to eject in the device list, right-click and pop-up context menu > Eject.
